From the start of his career, he was well-known and quickly became the preferred vocalist. Over 3,000 theater productions in India, Europe, America, Australia, and numerous Gulf countries have included him on stage.</p>
<p>In the Malayalam music business, KG Markose is affectionately known as Devagayakan for his heartfelt interpretations of devotional songs. Israyelin Nadhan, one of his songs, is well-known among Christian Keralites worldwide. He rose to prominence as the top Christian devotional singer in the Malayalam film industry and has performed in around 70 films. He received several honors and distinctions for his work, including the Malayalam Television Viewers Award (MTVA), the Kerala Catholic Bishop Council Award (KCBC), the NANA Audio & Video Award, the Mappila Sangeetha Academy Award, the Kerala Film Critics Prathibha Award, and several more.</p>
