Singer KG Markose’s Magnificent Return To Malayalam Cinema With Telangana Bommalu Song

<p>With Premalu, starring Naslen and Mamitha Baiju, KG Markose has returned to the Malayalam film industry after a 15-year hiatus. The film debuted on February 9, 2024, today. He provided the voice for the Telangana Bommalu promo song, which was released by the creators.</p>

<p>Telangana Bommalu is a song that KG Markose sang in Girish AD’s film Premalu. Girish AD and Kiran Josey’s romance comedy entertainment is advertised as a full-fledged production. Vishnu Vijay composed Telangana Bommalu, which was written by Suhail Koya. Yesterday, the song’s creators released it on social media to promote the film and hint at his return. The words “Re-introducing KG Markose” appear in the video. The caption said, “Bommalu, Telangana.” Now Available: Premalu’s Promo Song. at theaters starting tomorrow. Reservations Are Now Open!</p>
<p>Dileesh Pothan, Syam Pushkaran, and Fahadh Faasil are the producers of Premalu. In supporting but significant parts, the film will also include actors like Shyam Mohan, Akhila Bhargavan, Sangeeth Pratap, Althaf Salim, and Meenakshi Raveendran. Ajmal Sabu is in charge of cinematography.</p>
<p>Kerala-born KG Markose is a well-known Indian playback singer. Between the 1980s and 2000s, he sang in over 100 movies and performed several Christian devotionals. His career started in the early 1980s with the song Kannipoomanam from the Kelkkaatha Sabdham film starring Balachandra Menon. From the start of his career, he was well-known and quickly became the preferred vocalist. Over 3,000 theater productions in India, Europe, America, Australia, and numerous Gulf countries have included him on stage.</p>
<p>In the Malayalam music business, KG Markose is affectionately known as Devagayakan for his heartfelt interpretations of devotional songs. Israyelin Nadhan, one of his songs, is well-known among Christian Keralites worldwide. He rose to prominence as the top Christian devotional singer in the Malayalam film industry and has performed in around 70 films. He received several honors and distinctions for his work, including the Malayalam Television Viewers Award (MTVA), the Kerala Catholic Bishop Council Award (KCBC), the NANA Audio & Video Award, the Mappila Sangeetha Academy Award, the Kerala Film Critics Prathibha Award, and several more.</p>
