<p>While they wait for news about their favorite star’s forthcoming movie, Game Changer, fans of Ram Charan seem to be becoming impatient. On the X platform, hashtags like “reckless filmmaker Shankar” and “irresponsible director Shankar” have been trending since Tuesday. Fans have flocked to Twitter to voice their displeasure with the filmmaker, angered not just by the lack of movie updates but also by the nonexistence of a release date.</p>

<p>With the hashtag “‘Wake Up Shankar’,” most of the tweets had offensive language and violent images taken from films like KGF, Salaar, or RRR. In addition, moviegoers have added the director’s face to sequences in which criminals are attacked. Since the movie has been in production for three years, this behavior is not new. In the past, supporters also went against producer Dil Raju.</p>
<p>Game Changer was revealed in February 2021 by S Shankar and Ram Charan. Karthik Subbaraj wrote the plot, Shankar wrote the screenplay, and Sai Madhav Burra wrote the dialogue. In July of the same year, Kiara Advani, Anjali, Sunil, SJ Suryah, Naveen Chandra, Jayaram, and other actors in key parts joined the cast. Officially, production started in October 2021.</p>
<p>Indian 2 star Kamal Haasan and Game Changer are being shot under director Shankar’s direction. During a press conference, Dil Raju responded to a query on the film’s December 2023 release date by saying, “Directors who strive for excellence, such as Shankar, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and SS Rajamouli, sometimes take longer to complete their projects. I know how much effort each of them puts into their job. Shankar wants to finish this movie’s filming before Ram starts his next project’s production. It won’t be known the precise release date until the movie moves into post-production.</p>
<p>Game Changer has another filming schedule that takes place in February. Ram plays an IAS official in the movie, which centers on the idea of election reforms. The film’s soundtrack is being composed by Thaman S. After completing Game Changer, Ram will collaborate with director Buchi Babu Sana, who is most renowned for his work on Uppena, on an unnamed movie.</p>
