Shikhar Dhawan will meet his son after 3 years, Ayesha Mukherjee ordered to bring his son Zoravar to India

Indian star cricketer Shikhar Dhawan will be able to meet son Zoravar after 3 years. Delhi’s Family Court has ordered Dhawan’s estranged wife Ayesha Mukherjee to bring their 9-year-old son to India for a family gathering. The court said in the order that the mother alone does not have any special right over the son. Let us tell you that both of them started legal proceedings in both India and Australia regarding divorce and custody of the child.

Justice Harish Kumar of the Patiala House Court reprimanded Ayesha Mukherjee for objecting to bringing the child to India. The Family Court was told that Dhawan’s family has not seen the child since August 2020. It was initially scheduled for June 17 but was then postponed to July 1 considering the child’s school holiday and schedule. However, Mukherjee objected again, claiming that the event would be unsuccessful as other family members had not been consulted about the new date.

On this, the court said- If the petitioner probably did not consult other members of his family, but his parents would get the pleasure of meeting the grandchild. The petitioner’s child has not come to India since August 2020 and the petitioner’s parents and other family members have not got a chance to meet the child. The desire of the petitioner i.e. Shikhar Dhawan for his child to meet the grandparents cannot be called unreasonable.

The judge upheld Dhavan’s desire for the child to meet his grandparents. The judge questioned Mukherjee’s reasons for not wanting the child to be acquainted with Dhawan’s home and relatives in India. Why does she not want the child to visit frequently and get acquainted with the petitioner’s house and her relatives in India, the order said. When the child has school holidays, Shikhar can take the child to India for a while. It is noteworthy that Shikhar and Ayesha got married in 2012.
