RCB vs GT: Shubman Gill’s century overshadowed Kohli, Virat expressed his anger after the defeat

Virat Kohli’s dream of winning the IPL was once again shattered after the defeat against Gujarat Titans. Virat Kohli, playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) since 2008, is yet to win the title even once. In the last group match of IPL 2023 on Sunday, RCB needed a win over Gujarat Titans to reach the playoffs. Even after Virat Kohli’s century innings, RCB could not win the match.

Shubman Gill gave Gujarat Titans victory in this match by completing a century with a six. This six also got RCB out of the league. Earlier, Virat Kohli had injured his knee while trying to catch Vijay Shankar. Because of which he went to the dug out. When Shubman Gill’s century was completed, Virat was seen clapping sitting on the chair. But soon after this his disappointment was also evident.

Virat Kohli slammed a water bottle in frustration after his team’s defeat. Although this disappointment was only for a few seconds. He immediately got up and went inside the ground and congratulated Shubman Gill. After this, he was also seen laughing and talking with the Gujarat Titans players.
