53 years after beginning, Aerosmith will end their tour with a 40-date trek

Aerosmith, a legendary American hard rock band led by 'Demon of Screamin' Steven Tyler, has scheduled a 40-date farewell tour for this Autumn, 53 years after its Boston birth. 'Variety' claims that the band said in an announcement that it is finally ending its road tour.
Their “Peace Out” tour will get under way on September 2 in Philadelphia and will end on January 26 in Montreal, 2024. On the tour, Boston's hometown performance is scheduled for New Year's Eve. The Live Nation-produced tour will debut with The Black Crowes.
According to “Variety,” there was almost little tenderness in the announcement. The band members collectively issued the statement, “It's not goodbye, it's peace out!” The finest performance of our life is about to begin, so be ready and go this way.
Even though the announcement only refers to a retirement from touring, as 'Variety' notes, the 150 million-plus albums group has been inactive as a recording unit in recent years, having not released a new album in more than a decade, despite the fact that lead guitarist Joe Perry stated in 2019 that the band had plans to enter the studio and record new material.
'Music From Another Dimension!' was the final studio album by Aerosmith, which was released in 2012. '1971: The Road Starts Here,' their most recent album, was a compilation of the group's first demos.
According to “Variety,” the band inked a distribution agreement with Universal Music Group in 2021 that covers all of the albums it has released over the course of five decades on Columbia and Geffen.
