According to Bajrang Punia, the police refuse protesting wrestlers food and water. Pressure tactics continue

Olympic gold medalist Bajrang Punia, who is in charge of the protesting wrestlers at the Jantar Mantar, has accused the police of turning off the power and supplies to the competitors there.

Bajrang said that Delhi police had set up a blockade around the protest spot and was preventing the provision of food and water to the wrestlers in the video posted on Instagram. In addition, the police requested that the wrestlers halt their protest when WFI president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh was the target of two FIRs.

I've told the ACP, 'Do everything you can, we won't allow water or food in,' Bajrang remarked.

“You can see how much strain we're under. The cops are acting in this manner even though the whole nation is on our side.

In accordance with the POSCO Act, the minor's allegation is the subject of the first FIR against the 66-year-old, while the other wrestlers' complaints are the subject of the second FIR.

The wrestlers said that obtaining a FIR from the police was the first step toward success and declared that they would keep up the demonstration until Brij Bhushah was taken into custody.

Sakshi Malik said, “The demonstrations will continue, but this is our first step towards triumph.

“This battle is about more than merely registering a FIR. To punish him, put him in jail, and remove him from every position he now has are the goals of this struggle, according to Vinesh.

Bajrang pointed to the life-size poster of the several charges against Brijbhushan that was placed at the protest site and added, “There's a full list of FIRs against him. He is allowed to wander despite several lawsuits being brought against him. This demonstration will go on until he is in jail, the 29-year-old claimed.
